Winter sports at QFS: Bavarian curling
2017-01-23, Geretsried, Germany: At the sunniest winter day in January we spent an extended lunch break at a nearby pont. We played Bavarian curling in changing teams and enjoyed the bright sunshine as well as hot tea and good food.

QFS Christmas event in Leipzig
2016-12-02 – 2016-12-03, Leipzig, Germany: Die christmas event of QFS took place in Leipzig this year. After the work was done, we were invited to a panorama view at night over the city. Afterwards we visited our Leipzig colleagues in their office – also to a kicker match “Munich against Leipzig” analogous to the Bundesligaspitzenspiel. We had Spanish specialties for Christmas dinner and the evening ended with darts and billiards. The next morning we explored Leipzig-Plagwitz in an extensive feast day tour, before the Geretsried colleagues made the 6-hour return journey by train.

City Cycling – Cycling for a good climate – at QFS
2016-07-04 – 2016-07-24, Geretsried and Leipzig, Germany – Since the 4th of July the QFS team is collecting cycling kilometers. Almost all colleagues are registrated and they are writing down their covered distance by bike online every evening during the next three weeks.

QFS at the 10th company run in Geretsied
2016-06-08, Geretsried, Germany – Traditionally, some of the QFS employees and their family members took part in the 10th company run of the Business Forum Oberland. Who was not running on the track was supporting with loud cheers in the audience, as a photographer, cloths guarding, table squatters or beer- and pretzel bringer.

Two small but convenient QF-Test features
You may find it handy that necessary license updates now can be activated simply via the ‘Help’→’Update license…’ menu action. Also helpful to see are the GUI engines/technologies that QF-Test connects with during the SUT start sequence, which are now displayed in the QF-Test terminal.

QF-Test recognizes GWT objects even in obfuscated mode
In web sites that were created with the Ajax Toolkit GWT complex elements such as trees, tables etc. are a big challenge. Furthermore they are – intentionally – falsified by the obfuscated mode of GWT. For this reason many test tools have problems to recognize dynamically generated elements. QF-Test, however, goes one level deeper here and recognizes the elements by “getting past the obfuscation”. Thus, QF-Test ensures a reliable component recognition also for GWT.Features QF-Test/web
