The complete QF-Test experience: QF-Test Pro combines all the technologies and features that QF-Test has to offer. Test desktop applications, mobile apps, and web applications.

Thanks to QF-Test’s innovative architecture, tests can be developed so that the same test works on multiple platforms for a cross-platform application. QF-Test Pro also supports hybrid variants such as embedded browsers, or Java-in-browser applications.

QF-Test Web

QF-Test for web testers: QF-Test Web is perfect if you specialize in testing web applications.

You can record and replay actions and checks in all popular web browsers on Windows, Linux, and macOS. Headless browsers and Electron applications are also supported. You can also trigger HTTP requests and verify the results. In addition, you have access to our comprehensive suite of accessibility tests.

With QF-Test Web, you can test the full functionality of your web applications, including operations such as uploads and downloads, drag & drop, multiple windows or tabs, and pop-ups.

QF-Test Desktop

QF-Test for classic desktop applications: QF-Test Desktop covers testing a wide range of desktop applications.

Applications based on Java SWT/Swing, Java Eclipse/SWT, and JavaFX are supported on all operating systems. On Windows, applications based on Win32, .NET, WPF or Windows Forms, UWP, and Qt can also be tested.

QF-Test also supports image-based interactions with the rest of the desktop screen. Even complex operations such as drag & drop between applications are no problem for QF-Test Desktop.

QF-Test Mobile

QF-Test for iOS and Android: With QF-Test Mobile, you can test mobile apps on smartphones and tablets using the familiar intuitive QF-Test user interface.

QF-Test Mobile works with Android and iOS and can connect to and remotely control both real devices and emulators and simulators. QF-Test can tap, scroll, perform complex gestures, and simulate hardware buttons for you. Testing iOS applications is only possible on macOS systems.

We offer more cost-effective runtime licenses for the automated execution of tests.

Runtime licenses allow you to run test runs, nightly tests in batch mode, and load tests, as well as debug test suites, but unlike full licenses, they do not permit the implementation of tests. Like all our licenses, they are floating.

A test-suite in QF-Test is mainly represented by a tree structure of different node types. It may contain test-sets and test-cases as well as reusable procedures and component information. On the righthand side a detail view displays all attributes of the currently selected tree node.

What subscription durations are available for QF-Test?

Our monthly prices on qftest.com apply for a subscription period of at least 12 months, billed yearly.

Should you require a shorter billing period, please inquire with our sales team about the conditions at sales@qftest.com.

When do I need a developer and when a runtime license?

With a developer license you can create tests and during the time you don’t develop new tests, you can use the license for test execution…

With a runtime license you can execute tests (even remotely and via command line in batch mode). You can even do short-term changes (“fast debugging”), which however cannot be saved, since the runtime license is meant for executing tests.

What GUI technologies can be tested with QF-Test?

QF-Test supports the following UI Frameworks and platforms

Java applications

  • All kind of Java applications can be tested.
  • Everything is covered from the traditional Swing (including Webstart, ULC, JIDE components, CaptainCasa), and its successor JavaFX and also SWT, the Standard Widget Toolkit from Eclipse, including Plugins and RCP (Rich Client Platform) applications.

Hybrid applications

Use QF-Test to test applications combining Java and Web using technologies like JxBrowser, SWT-Browser, JavaFX WebView components, but also Java In Browser applications using JPro or Webswing.
