2016-06-10, Landhauscafé, Wolfratshausen and Deininger Weiher, Germany – All employees of Quality First Software took part in the cross culture workshop “Intercultural Basics” of the Cross Culture Academy. The QFS customers from different cultural areas were differentiated by “culture dimensions” that are relevant for business context. The goal was talking about the different behavior and communication patterns of the countries and defining possible interaction and action strategies. Dr. Sylvia Schroll-Machl discussed our concrete problems and illustrated her explainings with a large number of examples. The cultural mirror was held up to us and had some aha experiences, for example how we seem as “Germans”.
This intercultural day was very enriching for the whole team. QFS rounded off this exciting day full of ideas for further international cooperation with the summer event at the sunny Deininger Weiher.
