2021-12-08, everybody at home: Due to Corona, there had to be another online Christmas party this year, which does not mean that it would be less creative.

01.10.2021, Nuremberg, Germany: Where do you meet when one location is in Leipzig, one in Geretsried and one in Erlangen? Yes, exactly in Nuremberg. All employees arrived by train, saving CO2, and then the day began with a culinary walk through Nuremberg’s city center with the Main Market Square, the Hangman’s Bridge, and of course Nuremberg bratwursts and Nuremberg Elisen gingerbread.

2021-09-18, Zugspitze, Germany: Our CEO Gregor had been planning for more than 2 years to finally climb the Zugspitze and was thrilled when Sofya got down to business and initiated the project.

2021-06-29: At QFS we normally go out for lunch together 3-4 times a month. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, working from home has become compulsory and these Tuesday lunch outings have been cancelled. Therefore, we had several remote lunch meetings, which were quite fun.

2021-04-2021: This Tuesday evening we had our first game night via teams with two rounds of “Codenames” and two rounds of “Gartic Phone”. It was a lot of fun! More photos will follow after the next game night, which is scheduled for May.

March 2020, Geretsried-Gelting: A lot is moving right now. We have bought plants for our new office to create a good interieur climate, additional office cabinets for more storage space and of course the new soccer table.

2020-02-17, Geretsried-Gelting: After more than 15 years in the familial flair mid-terrace house in Tulpenstraße in Gertsried we moved to a light-flooded office in the business park of Geretsried-Gelting. “QFS has reached adulthood.”, this is how our managing director Martina outlined this relocation.

2020-01-15, Lenggries, Germany: This winter season we didn’t have a christmas party, but a New Year reception in the Alps.

2019-08-02 until 2019-08-04: Leipzig, Germany: This relaxing weekend started with a picnic in the parc Clara Zetkin near our Leipzig office in Forststraße.

2019-07-13, Wolfratshausen, Germany: The disctrict Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen arranged a vocational training fair “myfuture! Wolfratshausen” on the 13th of July. Our fair stand’s staff (Michael Höber and Martina Schmid) wasn’t as interesting as our football table, which was all time in use. Besides good IT skills kicker skills are also highly appreciated in our company :) Offers for a dual curriculum, internships and working student jobs were in demand as well as further information on our success in Great Place to Work.One of the visitors is already recuited :)

2018-11-23, Lake Fohn, Germany: The forest house at Lake Fohn, is an insider tip for a great christmas event. After coffee and cake we made a walk around the lake and a part of it was a trust walk in teams of two people who walked blindly. Interesting how the other senses change when you don’t see anything. This pleasant day ended up standing around the camp fire.

2018-07-06, Gelting and Lake Starnberg: This year’s summer event was sporty. We started with an archery trial session in Gelting in a gymnasium. Everybody tried to strike home. The right technique wasn’t as easy as expected. After this we went to a gourmet hike at Lake Starnberg of about four kilometers between three restaurants at the eastern bank of the lake. First the weather was a bit rainy, but towards evening the sun came out. This was a enjoyable and well-organized event.

2018-07-05, Geretsried: In the evening before the summer event a fitness test, a power sports program and relaxing traning took place. Tanja Bietermann, the trainer, gave us useful advice for a healthy every day life.

2017-09-27, Wolfratshausen, Germany: This was a big day, the Great Place to Work (GPTW) Workshop. An experienced consultant of GPTW spent one day with us as company. The analysis of the antecedent employee survey concerning the corporate culture of QFS was presented and all employees were interviewed in small groups again about the culture of Quality First Software qualitatively. All positive aspects of cooperation and the small tweaks for an even better and more trustful collaboration were presented to the managing directors. These points will be optimized within the next weeks.

2017-07-20, Geretsried – On Thursday morning five students from schools nearby of the classes that are near to their graduation participated in the project day “world of work at first hand”, QFS participated for the fourth time. The young people that are going to start working soon could choose out of 35 companies. In a very short period of time they learned to know QF-Test and tested the homepages of the three schools. They were equally talented in playing table football afterwards.

2017-06-19 until 2017-07-09, Geretsried, Germany: In the city cycling event 2017 QFS won lots of prizes – we really merit these prizes, since we rode our bikes for three weeks. The challenge cup is now presented in the meeting room for the most active bicycle team in Geretsried (almost 2,000 km and 280 kg CO2 were saved). Especially one of our colleagues from Leipzig cycled after our summer party from Geretsried back home to Leipzig in three days. The committee had good intuition: The winner’s old backback was not very comfortable and so his prize was a new trekking backpack.

2017-06-30 -2017-07-01, Valley, Germany: The 30th of June will stay positive in remembrance of lots of QFS employees and family members. When do you usually ride a camel – in Bavaria, sleep in an oriental tent between camels, lamas, alpacas, goats, horses and … boas? All this and even more happened on the 30th of June and in the following night at the camel farm. The lively and motely QFS team discovered the Mangfall valley by foot and on camels and was even influenced by the stoic calm of the animals. Back at the farm an Indian buffet was served in the oriental tent where also the snake show took place and some of us cured their aversion against boas by touching them. At the campfire the guitar was played and the small fell asleep and dreamed like the large afterwards in the oriental tent of The Arabian Nights.

2017-05-03 -2017-05-04, Erlangen, Germany: This was the key question of the workshop with the developers of QF-Test and the QFS managing directors.

2017-01-31 – 2017-02-02, Munich, Germany: The Sales Team and Martin Moser represented QFS at the OOP conference in Munich. Software quality has now also reached the heart of this developer conference: We had a stand at the Quality Tower and presented the latest QF-Test version.
