QF-Test 11.0 is a major release with many new features. QF-Test now acts as an MCP server, giving AI agents access to all applications QF-Test can control.

A new AI assistant generates test cases from live application analysis.

OpenAPI specifications can be imported to automatically create comprehensive test suites with CRUD tests and procedure libraries, for REST APIs.

With a new recording feature, interactions can now automatically be replaced with matching procedure calls, and a command palette provides instant keyboard access to all QF-Test functions.

Recording procedure calls or converting them after the fact

When recording sequences, QF-Test automatically detects matching procedures from your library and inserts the corresponding calls. You can also use the same mechanism to clean up existing test cases automatically, replacing individual nodes with structured procedure calls. This keeps your tests clean and ensures consistent reuse.

Web API: OpenAPI import

Import an OpenAPI specification (formerly “Swagger”) and get a complete test suite in seconds that automatically covers every endpoint including CRUD sequences and parameters – ensuring at all times that your API behaves exactly as specified.

Fast navigation

With the new command palette, a keyboard shortcut in QF-Test 11 gives you instant access to every feature as well as all elements in your test suites and projects. The smart search algorithm handles fuzzy search terms with ease.
