New office – (not only) new equipment
March 2020, Geretsried-Gelting: A lot is moving right now. We have bought plants for our new office to create a good interieur climate, additional office cabinets for more storage space and of course the new soccer table.
Major QF-Test Version 5.0 Released
It’s time to move on: QF-Test 5.0 is a major step forward – not just with its new look and support for native Windows applications, but also with other enhancements that make automated testing more convenient and reliable.

Relocation of our head office into a new office building
2020-02-17, Geretsried-Gelting: After more than 15 years in the familial flair mid-terrace house in Tulpenstraße in Gertsried we moved to a light-flooded office in the business park of Geretsried-Gelting. « QFS has reached adulthood. », this is how our managing director Martina outlined this relocation.
QF-Test 5.0 et macOS Catalina (10.15)
In their recent version of macOS, named “Catalina” (10.15), Apple introduced a feature protecting users from executing malicious software downloaded from the Internet. There are no changes to the familiar QF-Test workflow in testing Windows desktop applications and you can connect to your application using window titles.

The license server was shut down and still uses only the old license
OK, this is a really special case, but with the increasing use of the QF-Test license server this case is happening more often. The license server just has to be reachable by all QF-Test instances, which use a compatible client license for the server license. When starting, they ask explicitly just this license server if the requested license is still available.
