This is a maintenance release for the recently released development version 1.07.0 of qftestJUI.
Version 1.07.0, the new development release of qftestJUI, is now available for download. The number of new features in this release is huge. Most prominent are support for Java applets, direct recording of Drag&Drop, return values for Procedure nodes, on-the-fly compression of run logs, hierarchical resolution of component names and a NameResolver for OptionPanes.
Version 1.06.0, the new stable version of qftestJUI, is now available for download. Highlights in this update include image checks for the automated verification of graphical user-interface elements and time constraints for monitoring response time behavior. This release additionally offers support of Java version 1.5 as well as a new plugin concept for jar files, the integration of external script editors, and a test library with useful standard procedures.
This new release on the qftestJUI development branch features support for JDK 1.5 beta, automatic handling of temporary modal dialogs and ‘busy’ GlassPanes as well as improved recording, packing and replay of mouse events in tricky circumstances.
QFS took part in CeBIT 2004 – one of the world’s largest IT trade-shows – in Hannover, Germany from March 18th through the 24th.We are very happy with the feedback we received for qftestJUI on seven hard but inspiring days at the fair. Version 0.99.0 of qflib, the free Java library developed and maintained by Quality First Software GmbH, is now available for download. qflib is compatible with JDK 1.1 through JDK 1.4 and is composed of a mixture of packages, covering various aspects of Java program design with an emphasis on UI development.
Version 1.04.0, the second medium upgrade for qftestJUI since version 1.0, is now available for download. Main new features compared to version 1.02 are support for Java WebStart, extended support for distributed development through an include mechanism and dependency tracking across multiple suites.

Major new features relative to 1.0 are a powerful interactive debugger, support for distributed development and a Jython extension API for component and item names.The upgrade is free for all registered users. The final version on the development branch 1.01 of qftestJUI is now available for download. It features further improvements to the debugger and refinements for report generation.
