Version 3.3.0 is the first release on the new development branch of QF-Test. This version comes with a bunch of new features. Highlights are updated versions of Jython (2.5.1) and Groovy (1.7.2), support for Eclipse 3.6.1, experimental support for Firefox 4 and IE 9, integration with Hudson CI and fault-tolerant image checks.

Martin Moser, Senior Consultant and Trainer at QFS, will give a presentation at the Eclipse Testing Day 2010 titled: « Preventing Bananaware: Test automation from a user’s perspective for RCP applications ». The one-day conference will take place on September 8th in Darmstadt, Germany.Details

Version 3.2.2 is a maintenance release for the production branch 3.2 of QF-Test. Besides fixing a few bugs it adds support for Eclipse / SWT 3.6 « Helios » and multi selection in an SWT FileDialog.

Version 3.2.1 is the first maintenance release on the production branch 3.2 of QF-Test. The focus of this release is fixing bugs, there is no new functionality.

Version 3.2.0 is the first release on the new production branch of QF-Test. New features cover all aspects from extended functionality (Web testing in combination with Java applets, detailed reports), improved user experience (no more JDK instrumentation, workbench view, incremental search), additional documentation (‘Best Practices’ part in the manual) to extensibility with several new APIs.

This development version serves as a prerelease for the coming production release 3.2 of QF-Test. It focuses on completion and stabilization of the many new features introduced over the last year.

An add-on for QF-Test 3.1.1 and 3.0.3 with support for the latest Eclipse / SWT version is now available.

Besides fixing a number of bugs this version on the production branch mainly provides bidirectional compatibility with the new check mechanism in the current development version.

Highlights of this new version on the development branch are completion of the new check mechanism with custom check support for all check data types and user-defined bookmarks for faster navigation. The new ClassNameResolver is a major milestone for AJAX web testing, where it significantly improves component recognition.

The patch versions 3.0.2-p2 and 3.1.0-p1 provide support for the new version of Eclipse 3.5 « Galileo ».

Version 3.1.0 is the first release on the new development branch of QF-Test.This version comes with a bunch of new features. Highlights are combined testing of a web page and its embedded Java applets, automatic refactoring for calls to test cases, procedures and dependencies when their targets change and new, powerful APIs for setting options, custom checks, next-generation resolvers and monitoring of test-runs.
